Long Term Preservation

The Sandwich Historical Commission, as part of its continuing mission, has embarked on a long-term project to document every cemetery in town, and restore or preserve damaged headstones. This will be a long, slow process with strong competition for limited preservation funds.

Project director, Jennifer Madden is continually evaluating the most pressing needs for preservation and allocating funding for restoration and documentation.

Visit the links above to view information about each cemetery. We will post new documentation as it comes available.
