1884 Sandwich Bird’s Eye Map

A beautiful high oblique view of Sandwich center, looking south from the shore of Cape Cod Bay. The Boston & Sandwich Glass Company is front and center, with the village center, Shawme Pond and Academy Hill beyond. The full length of the Cape Cod Canal winds its way from Scusset Beach to Buzzards Bay in the distance.
