George was my 7th great-grandfather, thanks for your help. B. Evans
Where exactly was George Allen’s original house? I know it was on Spring Hill Rd. George is my 11th ggf . Was it next to the Meeting House?
My 9th great grand father. It was in Spring Hill and I think not far from the QMH oldest burial ground. Yes, near the Meeting house. Altho he arrived here as an Anabaptist, his whole family took on Society of Friends. And of course son William’s house was an original meeting place of quakers.
