On October 8, 2022, the Sandwich Historical Commission was pleased to present this stirring new documentary and give the public the chance to meet John Yacobian, the film’s producer, and Ellen Briggs, the founder of Protect Our Past.

The mission of Protect our Past is to educate and influence Cape residents, part-time residents and visitors about the importance of saving the historic fabric of this peninsula. Learn more about Protect Our Post here.

The event was presented free of charge at Sandwich’s Old Town Hall. Built in 1834, Old Town Hall was restored to its former glory in 2009 by the Town Hall Preservation Trust. The beautiful second floor ballroom and theater once presented silent films accompanied by a piano player.
